Mountain Leader and Wildlife Guide

Lucy is a holder of both the Summer and Winter Mountain Leader Awards as well as an International Mountain Leader. She’s been living and working on Arran for over 20 years and is an enthusiastic guide with a deep local knowledge. She’s also more widely involved in the walking industry- working as a freelance writer for The Great Outdoors Magazine, and as a trainer and assessor for Mountain Training UK’s Summer Mountain Leader Award. She works overseas with young people in Tanzania and Switzerland and is a member of Arran Mountain Rescue Team. She is a passionate advocate for access rights on behalf of Ramblers Scotland, where she currently holds the position of honorary Vice President.
